Mission Lunches

Mission Lunches
We host a Mission Lunch after church twice a month in our Fellowship Hall. It’s a “donate-as-you-can” meal, and we offer vegetarian, gluten-free, and kid-friendly food. All monetary donations support various mission projects or organizations in our church, city, or state. As stewards of our environment, we also use washable dishes and silverware, compost our waste, and use cloth napkins. This is a great place to meet more people, form new friendships, eat a fresh-cooked meal, all while lifting up some great non-profits and ministries in our region.
Adults

Adult Sunday School
The Margaret Hooke-Wesley Class uses the Cokesbury series, Adult Bible Study and Mature Years. The Margaret Hooke-Wesley Class is currently meeting on Zoom and in-person at 9:30 am each Sunday morning.
The Lowrimore Class uses the weekly lectionary text as a starting place for our discussions. But we never know where the Spirit will lead the conversation. Lots of questions, lively debate, and occasional humor. Everyone is welcome. The Lowrimore Class is currently meeting in person and on Zoom at 9:00 am each Sunday morning.

College Ministry

The Wesley Foundation is the college ministry organization for The United Methodist Church. The Raleigh Wesley Foundation (RWF) is housed at Fairmont.
Fairmont has had a close connection with RWF since its founding in 1942, even before Fairmont had a church building. In the late 1940s the Wesley Foundation began meeting in Fairmont’s Fellowship Center (now The Hut) and they have been here ever since.
In the Raleigh Wesley Foundation, our prayer is that we may function as a Christ-centered faith community serving Wake County colleges and seeking to grow in our faith and follow Jesus in our daily lives.
