Pastor Scott is originally from Raleigh, NC, but moved back after living elsewhere in NC for 21 years in July 2024 to become the pastor at Fairmont UMC. He went to college at Wake Forest University, majoring in history and minoring in philosophy, and received his Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School. Pastor Scott has previously served churches in Newton Grove and Fayetteville, NC.

Pastor Scott is passionate about outreach and connecting the church with the wider community, through service and building relationships with our neighbors. He is looking forward to working with the great history of Fairmont already loving their neighbors and building upon it.

Pastor Scott is married to Kady Ann. They have two children. Zoey is 6 years old and loves gymnastics and is getting better at soccer and swimming. And Luke is 2½ years old, and loves food, soccer, and having fun.

They are excited to be a part of the Fairmont family and the wider community of Raleigh.

Regan hails from Northwest Ohio and has been acclimating to the Raleigh area since 2011. Following high school, she attended Bowling Green State University and then worked for a manufacturing company for 10+ years.

She moved here following her passion to create her own photography business. After moving, God revealed his true intentions, and she found her calling.

Now, she helps care for children and families and uses her skills and talents to help others wherever she is able.

Liz Roberts, Director of Raleigh Wesley Foundation

The Reverend Elizabeth Roberts is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a BA degree in Philosophy and Religion. She also earned a Master of Divinity degree in 2002 from the Divinity School at Duke University. She has previously served as Pastors of Fairmont UMC and Windborne UMC and as Associate Pastor at Seaside UMC in Sunset Beach, NC. She is passionate about youth and young adults in regards to the church as well as mission work and travel. Liz is married to Aaron Muscle and together they have two children, Libby and Wesley (and their fur-baby, a labradoodle named Megan).
