We have not worshiped indoors together since last March, but our new, high efficiency boiler has been Keeping Our Welcome Warm for the ELC and other limited indoor activities through the past winter, while preserving our building to serve our community as we return to more normal times. In the meantime, we have a boiler loan payment of $34,000 coming due in early May. So it's time to reboot our campaign to cover payments on the boiler loan for the next three years with a fund of $105,000. The current balance on the loan is approximately $286,000.
Pledge cards will be safely delivered to local members in the weeks leading up to Palm Sunday. Please welcome your socially distancing visitors. You will also find a pledge card below. The web page pledge card is a fillable pdf that you can complete and email to the church, or print and deliver in person.
Return your pledge card in person under the oaks on Palm Sunday or Easter Sunday to receive a gift bag with very special treats made and assembled by our young families as a celebration of your generosity.
You can also make gifts to Keeping Our Welcome Warm using the donate page, or by check. Please note "Boiler" on your check memo line. Remember that gifts of stock are an excellent option as the church and donor benefit from the appreciated value of the stock contribution, but the donor does not pay tax on the gain.
May God bless Fairmont and its tradition of generosity.
