Spiritual Development

We have a number of different Sunday School classes.

Infant and small children’s care is provided 9:30 AM through the finish of worship in the Nursery & Toddler rooms, main floor.

The Elementary Class (ages 5-12) meets upstairs. We use the Deep Blue curriculum from Abingdon Press, with occasional special lessons and mission-based activities designed for our kids.

Grades 5-8 meet in Room 314.

Grades 9-12 meet in Room 305a.

The Margaret Hooke-Wesley Class meets at 9:45 AM in the Worship Center and uses the Cokesbury series, Adult Bible Study and Mature Years.

The Lowrimore Class uses the weekly lectionary text as a starting place for our discussions. But we never know where the Spirit will lead the conversation. Lots of questions, lively debate, and occasional humor. Everyone is welcome.

The Cornerstone Class is now the Lowrimore Class - in memory of departed members and saints of Fairmont - Gene and Julia Lowrimore. The Trustees have also approved renaming the library where Gene taught the class as the Lowrimore Library. A new plaque is being prepared for the library doors.
