Greater Triangle Area CROP Walk - (a "feet" on opportunity!) Sunday, October 31. Fairmont has been part of these walks for over 30 years and is a bronze sponsor of the event. We need walkers and donors. The money raised will go to help refugees, disaster relief, global self help projects and local hunger fighting agencies such as Urban Ministries of Wake County and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
Because of still high COVID numbers, the walk is virtual which means you can walk your favorite trail, walk around the block at Fairmont and walk between Starbucks locations. John Lewis is the DJ for the event. To volunteer to walk or to donate or both you can go this link: https://events.crophungerwalk.org/2021/team/fairmont-united-methodist-church
